The prerequisite is that you were prominently involved in the project\u2019s implementation.<\/li><\/ul><h2>How to submit a contribution?<\/h2><p>See \u201cHow to submit a contribution?\u201d below.<\/p><h2>Submission deadline<\/h2><p>The submission is open until and including <strong>2 November 2025<\/strong>.<\/p><h2>Submission categories<\/h2><p>See \u201cSubmission categories\u201d below.<\/p><h2>How are the nominees chosen?<\/h2><p>A preliminary jury consisting of lecturers and experts from the respective subject area select three projects for each category and nominates them for the evening gala.<\/p><h2>Limitations to Copyright<\/h2><p>Please note that by submitting your contribution, you grant the USTP \u2013 University of Applied Science St. P\u00f6lten the non-exclusive right to use the presentation at the media award ceremony, publish it on the websites and social media channels operated by the USTP, and to use it within the framework of c-tv and its social media channels. You thereby assure that the submitted contributions are free from third-party copyrights (or that you have obtained the necessary licences). In this context, you also undertake to indemnify and hold the USTP harmless against any third-party claims.<\/p><p>In the case of film scoring, please make sure to obtain the necessary rights first (except for own production). Please submit both the original file (original length) and the 3-minute excerpt.<\/p><h4>ANIMATION<\/h4><p>This category celebrates the art and technology of bringing images and objects to life, from traditional hand-drawn animation to cutting-edge CGI and motion design.<\/p><h4>SOUND &amp; MUSIC<\/h4><p>Celebrating the art of audio in media, this category recognizes outstanding achievements in sound design, original music composition, and innovative audio productions that enhance storytelling and create immersive experiences.<\/p><h4>SHORT FILM<\/h4><p>Honoring exceptional storytelling in cinematic formats under 40 minutes, this category recognizes fictional, experimental, and innovative short films that captivate audiences in limited timeframes.<\/p><h4>DOCUMENTARY &amp; TV-PRODUCTION<\/h4><p>This category focuses on factual storytelling across various formats, from investigative journalism to creative documentaries, recognizing excellence in informing, engaging, and inspiring audiences through compelling narratives and innovative approaches.<\/p><h4>INTERACTIVE<\/h4><p>Celebrating exceptional interactive experiences, this category honors projects that innovate in user engagement, storytelling, and information presentation across mobile apps, games, websites, and audiovisual installations.<\/p><h4>CONTENT CREATION &amp; PRODUCTION<\/h4><p>Honoring innovative cross-media and transmedia content, this category focuses on projects that push boundaries in storytelling across multiple platforms, showcasing creative concepts and high production values.<\/p><h4>VISUAL ART &amp; DESIGN<\/h4><p>This category recognizes exceptional visual arts and design in media, from experimental digital art and AI-generated visuals to graphic design and projection mapping, highlighting creativity, technical skill, and digital innovation.<\/p><h4>ALUMNI PROJECTS<\/h4><p>Any project is eligible if it fits one of the sevenx categories listed before.<br \/>The requirements are the same as for every other category.
